Stock Jug Recipes (1-gallon jugs, 100× concentrate)
Jug A — Masterblend + Epsom: 378 g Masterblend 5-11-26 + 189 g Epsom salt. Fill with warm water, shake until fully dissolved.
Jug B — Calcium nitrate: 378 g calcium nitrate. Fill with water, shake.
To use: Milliliters of stock = grams in the recipe × 10, per gallon of water. Add Jug A first, swirl, then Jug B. Never mix A and B together undiluted.
Storage: 6+ months sealed, cool and dark. Each jug makes 100+ gallons of working solution. If crystals form in a cold shed, warm the jug and shake.
Use at your own risk. I built this calculator, with help from Claude (an AI assistant), for my own garden and my own fertilizer supplies. It’s shared as-is, with no promise that it’s accurate, complete, or right for your plants, your water, your products, or your conditions. Fertilizers are chemicals: Read your product labels, use your own judgment, and start conservatively. By using this tool you agree that you’re responsible for your own results, and that I’m not liable for anything that happens to your plants, your property, or anything else because you used it.
